Ayden Millette, Brian Rundstrom Jr. win Limited Late Model features at Langley Speedway



Points leader Ayden Millette and Brian Rundstrom Jr. drove to 35-lap victories Saturday night in twin Limited Late Model features that highlighted the stock-car racing card at Langley Speedway in Hampton.

Millette took just less than 14 minutes and 47 seconds to prevail by 461-thousandths of a second over Jacob Derrick, who was coming off last week’s Late Model victory. Atley Wiese was a distant third, 3.905 behind Millette, and 13 of the 14 competitors finished on the lead lap.

Rundstrom, who was eighth in the opener, overcame Kyle Nester by 1.005 seconds and third-place Nick Sample by 1.244 in the nightcap, in which Millette placed fourth.

Millette, who has won four of the division’s eight races this year, started the evening with a nine-point edge on Derrick and a 14-point advantage on Wiese. It was the second win of the year for Rundstrom, who was fourth in points.

Super Street: Sammy Gaita mostly dominated a 40-lap race that lasted just more than 13 minutes, outpacing Dale Nichols by 1.244 seconds. Jacob Wood was third, 7.446 behind Gaita.

Gaita posted his fifth victory of the year and extended his points lead, which was 25 over second-place Wood as the race started.

Grand Stock: Paul Lubno motored to a triumph encompassing 40 laps and more than 22:10. He outraced Ryan Hutchens by 1.092 seconds and third-place Nate Lundin by 1.461 in the field of six drivers. Lubno, the points leader, registered his season-high fourth victory of 2025.

Super Truck: Bill Wallace, who entered the track 10th in the standings, won a 25-lap race for his second victory of the season. Points leader Chris Bechtel was the runner-up and Chris McEvoy earned third among 13 competitors.

UCAR: Thomas Fontaine continued his success this season, gaining his fifth victory in seven events.

He led the 11-driver group by finishing 25 laps in just more than 16:53 to beat Jason Aukland by 623-thousandths of a second. Third-place Zac Herdlein trailed Fontaine by 1.246.

Fontaine started competition four points ahead of Aukland.

Legends: Tommy Jackson breezed to a 25-lap win, crossing the finish line 2.667 seconds ahead of Cody Carlton and 3.437 before third-place Bryson Nichols in an 11-driver race that took more than 10:36. It was Jackson’s series-best third victory of the year.

Jackson took the green flag with a one-point lead on Charlie Beals, who wasn’t in Saturday’s race, and a 10-point edge on Charlton.

Bandolero: Landon Burbage zoomed to a 15-lap victory in just more than 12:43, beating Leo Bennett by 768-thousandths of a second. It was the sixth victory in seven races this year for Burbage, who began the night with a 15-point lead on Nevaeh Edwards.

Georgia Causey placed third, 0.941 seconds off the lead, and Edwards was fourth among six competitors.
