Seth Sadler and Logan Adams drove in runs to lead the Bruins in a game that featured just four total hits. Miles Melescu allowed two hits and an earned run over five innings and Gavin Biernot pitched two hitless innings of relief.

Wes Stubbe had four hits, including two doubles, and scored three runs, while Cade Howlett earned the win and struck out six over four innings.

Dawson Newman struck out seven and permitted two hits over six innings, and Calvin Mabry and Casey Cuddyer combined for five RBIs, and Drew Griffin had two hits.

Jackson Okonkwo threw a complete game and struck out 10, Payton Shipman hit a three-run home run and Jonathan Ashe, Tucker Rupe, and Jack Bonney each had two hits.

Jack Marchesi hit a three-run homer, and Tre Hamilton had two hits for the Dolphins. On the mound, Sean Burke pitched a three-hit shutout for Ocean Lakes.

Tommy Distler struck out nine in the win for the Warriors. Brayden Ellis doubled, and Kason Boone had an RBI.

Jake Chadwell was 4 for 4 with 3 doubles for the Hawks.

Indian River 11, Kings Fork 6

Jaydon Crawford went 3 for 4 at the plate with a double and five RBIs, while Paul Green added two and scored twice.

Patrick Dudley, Brett Beasley, Hudson Howell, and Addison Way combined for a no-hitter and 13 strikeouts.

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy 3, Steward 0

Matt Elswick pitched a complete game, allowing just three hits, and Joseph Petry had three hits for the Saints. NSA plays a semifinal against Norfolk Academy at 4 p.m. Wednesday at War Memorial Stadium in Hampton.

Norfolk Academy 6, Hampton Roads Academy 2

CJ Murray hit a three-run home run to cap a six-run sixth inning and also picked up the win on the mound for the Bulldogs.

Tegan Gabrielse struck out five in two innings 3 for 3 at the plate, while Taylor Ryan added four RBIs and Sophia Avin hit her fifth home run in the Hawks’ 17th victory of the season. Demetria Burton hit a solo homer for the Warriors.

#3 Kellam 8, #9 Ocean Lakes 2

Hannah Lebert went 4 for 4 with two stolen bases, and Grace Andes went 3 for with an RBI. Carson Griffith added two hits and three RBIs and Abby Adamek pitched for the Knights, fanning 10 and allowing three hits.

#6 Granby 23, Churchland 4

Taylor Langston was a home run shy of the cycle on her birthday, while Kyrsten Wells and Alexis Hejnal also collected three hits each.

#8 Gloucester 20, Heritage 3

Autumn Cookson went 3 for 5 with two doubles and two RBIs, while Cameron Palas was 4 for 5 with a double and four RBIs. Kaia Hutton finished with two hits and four RBIs.

Cassie Kleier hit a bases-loaded double in the sixth inning to drive in two runs to lift the Wildcats. Kleier and Bayly Yerigan finished with two hits apiece.

Kate Beck threw a no-hitter and fanned 10 to record her 300th career strikeout. The Patriots finished with 16 hits.

Sam Brown went 3 for 4, including a double, two RBIs and three runs and Grace Snead added two hits and three RBIs.

Yoeliz Torres went 4 for 4 with five RBIs, Valarie Miranda had three hits and three RBIs and Tianna Stitts went 1 for 2 with 2 RBIs.

Taylor Twitchell tossed a complete game three-hitter, and Brielle Creque had two hits in the victory.
